Resources for Productivity, Life, and FunThanks for checking out the resources page. This list of resources is organized into headings and lists for easier navigation. Check back from time to time, because I will be updating this list as new resources turn up. Thanks again, and I do hope that you find what you’re looking for here! If you think something should be here, please let me know or just email me. Access TechnologySerotekFirst up is Serotek. They offer magnification, and screen reading support accessible anywhere. Just type in SAToGo.com from Internet Explorer, and you have a working screen reader/magnifier! Paying for services from Serotek, gets you some of the following, document scanning software that enables you to scan paper documents, and human-friendly voices that are clear, and easy to understand. They also have a great online network of content such as described movies, (audio tracks only), radio from around the world, chatting, audio books, textbooks, forums, information resources like consumer info/recipes etc, and much more! Help is available online, and is frequently updated whenever new keyboard commands and/or features are added to the software, or to the SA Mobile Network. IZoomIf you are only interested in low-cost magnification software check out IZoom. They are innovative without the price tag. Pricing planns can probably fit any budget. NVDANon Visual Desktop Access is rapidly becoming a cheep screen reader with no hastles. The default voice that ships with the product probably will find you desiring more in the way of voice quality, and object navigation will be sure to make you say, "hmmm". Despite these caveats NVDA should be considered if not watched for future developments. ReadingMadeEZA web site called Reading Made EZ offers a wide range of products to help the blind and visually impaired. You can see a list of all of their products here. Among my favorites are:

LifestyleLighthouseFirst of all, if you are blind, or visually impaired, please check out anyone of the Lighthouse for the blind and visually impaired web sites. You will find contact info as well as resources to help you. Guide DogsIf you are considering guide dogs as a life style choice, I would like to recommend Guide Dogs for the Blind. While all guide dog schools have their great traits, Guide Dogs for the Blind truly goes the extra mile for their guide dog teams. They also have a lot of support via local alumni chapters such as Sunshine Guide Dog Teams of Florida. If you are looking at all schools within the United States it is important to do your homework to find the school that is best for you, and you're lifestyle. One place that can help with this is the ,GDUI home page. One resource that is particularly helpful is their survey of guide dog schools. The survey allows for an at a glance view of all schools, and what each school provides, from dog breeds to entrence requirements. Vision AwareVisionAware.org has a great services page that covers the following broad categories:
